A More Just Outcome is an investigative journalism project focused on two Black men, Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. and DJ Henry. Both men were killed by police: Henry in 2010, Chamberlain in 2011. The police officers involved in the shootings were not criminally charged. On June 10, 2021, however, Westchester County District Attorney Miriam Rocah announced that her office would review both cases.

In fall 2021, Pace University students in the Department of Media, Communications, and Visual Arts researched and reported on both cases for the course Digital Storytelling (MCA 495). Their work, edited by Dr. Kate Fink (kfink@pace.edu), is shown on this site.

The title of this project is a quote from Danroy Henry Sr., DJ Henry’s father, when he was asked about what he hoped would come from the DA’s review.
